Andrea Navedo

Andrea Navedo, an American actor and author. She began her career on the soap operas for daytime viewers like One Life to Live and Guiding Light and in later years had several supporting roles on primetime television. Andrea Navedo was born 10 October 1977 in The Bronx New York United States. Navedo started her professional acting career in dramas for daytime. She was a part of the ABC soap show One Life to Live as Linda Soto from 1995 to 1997. In 1999, she became Theresa Sandoval in the CBS soap show Guiding Light. She made her film debut with a small character on the show in Girl 6 (1996) then starred in episodes of New York Undercover and The District. In 2001 Navedo played a supporting role in the action-comedy Double Take. Double Take and the following year in the drama film Washington Heights. Navedo played Detective Ana Cordova in the NBC program Law & Order from 2001 until 2004. Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages came out, as did Blue Bloods. Navedo played in a variety of films including El Cantante and Remember Me. Between 2011 and 2013, Navedo also had recurring roles as a character in How to Make It in America Golden Boy and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Navedo was a part of the comic film Superfast! The Fast and the Furious Parody, which debuted in the year 2015 is a mockumentary of the Fast and Furious Film series. Navedo began her acting career with daytime soap operas. In 1995 through 1997 Navedo portrayed Linda Soto in ABC's One Life to Live. In 1999 she joined the team of CBS soap opera Guiding Light as Theresa Sandoval. Her film debut was in a small role on Girl 6 (1996). Later, she guest-starred in the episodes New York Undercover, The District and The District. Navedo starred with Double Take, an action-comedy film that debuted in 2001.
